Tom DeLay, Leave Me Alone

I have the form bookmarked here but because my printer is on the fritz, I want to state it here in this very public forum, too.

If something happens to me and I can’t make my own decisions about my health care, I want the husband to make those decisions. That’s his job. Okay?

Also, if I’m diagnosed as terminal, don’t keep me living on machines. Make me comfortable and help me die in peace. And good lord, if I ever end up a vegetable and there’s no chance of my coming out again, same deal. Let me die in peace. I don’t want my body just taking up real estate and resources on the planet and I don’t want to live as just a shell for an inoperative brain.

I don’t think there will be a lot of disagreement around this in the family, but there you have it.
