Flock Me, Amadeus

(You’d better get that because it’s freakin’ hilarious.)
Thank you, thank you, thank you. I have arrived safely and am securely ensconsed in the snow globe. The transatlantic leg was fairly uneventful, plus, I had an aisle seat in the exit row. Seasoned travelers know that this means a critical thing, even to the short: Extra Leg Room! In spite of the German Math Nerds in the next two seats and the Loud Talkers a few rows back, I seem to have slept for a decent portion of the flight.

Mindy, bless her heart, was waiting when I came out of immigration in Heathrow. The first words out of her mouth: “Soy or milk?” May she prosper and go to a higher life form next time around! We drank the coffee she’d JUST bought, got caught up in a lightning round sort of way, had a little lunch, then whoosh, she was on her way. She had to do everything I just did because she’s flying back the other way today. Meeting up with her the day before she flies stateside was especially handy because what did I have in my carry on? Netflix. Yup. Forgot to post them from Sea-Tac.
Schneebericht? (Your required vocabulary word - it means snow report.) There’s about a foot of snow on the ground outside our door. It’s raining now, but Big Snow is in the forecast for the next few days. It’s actually a good thing we drove home last night because the weather in Vienna was FILTHY. Rain and high winds. Blech.
Today’s plans? Napping. Mostly. And drinking coffee. Lather, rinse, repeat.
Administrivia note: The McCain Anti-Torture Amendment passed! I’ve pulled the button to the campaign and replaced it with, hey! Local weather in Aigen! Click the button for the full weather report.
Also, latest photos will always be in the top of the Grace sponsored Flickr badge on the right side of the page. There are a few pics of Yanks dorking it up in Heathrow up there.
