The Fort Knox of commenting is now open.
March 3, 2006 – 12:49 am | by nerd's eye view
You no longer have to commit your first born to comment on Nerd’s Eye View. I had the settings all wrong. Registration is no longer required. Also, I’ve been getting vast quantities of annoying comment spam, so there’s a tiny spam blocking measure in place now, hopefully not too much of a nuisance. Less of a nuisance than that required registration thing; what WAS I thinking? You folks that registered, man, you must really have needed to SAY something! What a hassle. Thanks for your patience and participation.

Wow. Who knew that opening the comment gates would lead to “woo hooing!” Still, now that I know what was standing between you and comments, I appreciate getting them all the more.
Thanks for your suffering. Let the conversing begin.

Well, I didn’t want to say anything, but…
It was a bit frustrating when I couldn’t remember my WordPress user name or password…since I had all of my passwords stored in Firefox’s Password Manager…and lost them when our laptop died.

It was ridiculous, I will be the first to admit it. Such perseverence though, does not go unnoticed! I LOVE Wordpress for blogging, but the options take a little time to understand.
Still, the gates are OPEN, so come on in!
