Fish Wednesday: Blue Marlin
July 13, 2006 – 3:57 pm | by nerd's eye viewThis week found us broiling Blue Marlin steaks and dishing them up with roasted potatoes with olives and red onions, and kale. I’ve been cooking my greens in the oven lately and it’s working out pretty well. I overdid the marlin just a bit - it’s a rather dense, dry fish and I left it under the broiler too long. Marlin would make for excellent BBQ and probably would do well to sit in some sort of delicious marinade overnight.
A mediocre Fish Wednesday, I thought, but no matter. A chance to improve upon it is only a week away.
