I love this! What a girl wants:

part-time permanent work
some minions to help me sort out my garage studio
plumbing fixes
electrical upgrade for the homestead
more minions (landscaping this time) to get rid of the forest of shrubs around the house
for my friends to know I love them
good stories (I actually get this one, but it's too precious not to include)
good mid-term election results in the U.S.
secure electronic votes
a commitment, worldwide, to attend to the environment - you know, stewardship

Thanks Pam!!

Jeez, I'm aiming my wishes way too low...I'd pretty much settle for a pumpkin latte at this point. ;) That, and the Dems totally taking over both houses.

Insulation - move to Yurrip, the government gives you money for insulation. Get an Austrian army helicopter to fly over your pad with a heat seeking device to identify the troublespots.
Car repair and maintainence - car mechanics, globally, will gouge you. Unless your car is a a Ford and the mechanic a grandfather type, who'll get the part cheap and not gouge you for installation. we've got one of those, in Yurrip.
will, living will, power of attorney - what's wrong with downloading from the internet? Lawyers, ya can't trust them. Not even in Yurrip.
Financial and investment consulting - Um, didn't you used to WRITE this stuff? Personal finance writers, we can't trust you.
Cortison injections for my left shoulder - doctors, you can't trust them. Will probably cut your arm off and charge you double. Except in Dublin, where you'd have to wait four days for them to see you and cut your arm off.
Steam cleaning for grout in the bathroom -- Hire a Karcher. You can trust them.
A better health insurance plan that covers teeth and eyes - come to Yurrip.
A lucrative publishing contract and/or book deal - write romantic schlock or crimies.
Socially progressive government -- Governments, you can't trust them.
Warm feet -- There are two comedians in Dublin getting lots of laughs about how women are never warm. They're always freeeeezing!!
