Fish Wednesday: America Doesn’t Suck Edition
November 8, 2006 – 7:14 pm | by nerd's eye viewTuna makes for good celebratory dining. I marinated it all day in soy sauce, sesame oil, red chili, and ginger, then put it under the broiler for about five minutes - it was still a little pink when I pulled it out. Served up with brown rice, brocolli, and a big dollop of wasabi. Wow. Good stuff.
I’m still hoping we’ll get the Senate. Thanks, Americans.

It looks like Kris Kringle threw up all over my Starbucks, and we are no longer under repressive Republican rule…
I’m thinkin’ that it’s a good day!

This is such a strange feeling. I can’t remember the last time I felt so proud to be American.
Oh, yes I can! It was November 3, 1999.

PS: Presumably, your choice of broccoli as a side was another jab–consciously or unconsciously–at the Bush family?

Yum. Even the Bush-bashing broccoli.
Sigh. Oh, to find sesame oil and ….can I even get the word out without getting emotional (and teary eyed, in memory of our last meeting) —wasabi in Salamanca.
Anyway, yay us!!! Looks like you celebrated well.
