Kitchen Stripe-a-riffic

Our new kitchen floor is in. We love it. Love it. Love it. In case you’re wondering, it’s Marmoluem. Nope, I’m not a product shill and yup, it’s great stuff. Beautiful.

We’re having our first real homecooked meal with friends tonight. The new house feels like a palace.

    I had a Marmoleum floor at my old place and I still kind of miss it. So unbelievably easy.

    Yes, really a nice Marmoleum floor! Good choice ;)

    I am at the moment renovating my flat as well and I can tell you it is drudgery!

    Enjoy your new home ;)

    Oooh, I do like that. Very palace-like indeed. Hey, do you think if I bribed you with cake you could come over and decorate MY house in your spare time? We’re still trying to drag it from the early 70’s into the New Millenium.

    @Christina:

    I would love to drag your place kicking and screaming in to the 00s. That would be really fun. You’d have to consent to my wacky eye for color, though, and get rid of those weird lumpy German couches.

    Do you HAVE weird lumpy German couches? :-)

    Love it too!

    Great to see you’re cooking again. Love the colour, we just painted our bedroom the wall colour … mebbe, going by what I can see of your walls here :)

    Well, the couches aren’t *too* lumpy but the rest of the house is lookin’ pretty anemic (are you familiar with “Rauhfasertapete”?). A whacky eye for colour would be most welcome. :-)
