Unlike you, I bored by live baseball. I did go to Jacob's Field once with a friend who had loge seats. Yes, it's a beautiful complex, and the loge experience is probably the only way I'd make it thru another game. But they kept having rain delays and I just couldn't stay any longer. But at least I can say that I've been to game and know from personal experience that yes, baseball does put me to sleep. ;) Like you, I am against the money going to sports facilities.
