I had the flu during the spring planting season and summer was busy with work so I never did get a garden in. But I’m making up for it this fall. The first round of kale seedlings — and the beets — are appearing, they’re just about ready to be thinned. And I put in a new batch of lettuces, Swiss chard, and watercress, all nice winter greens. Bonus? We hardly ever have to water because it’s that time of year.
