Delurking Week

I’m a bit of a soapbox blogger. I stand in the town square and declaim. Blah blah blah, me me me. I’m like that guy downtown in front of Pottery Barn with the sign, shouting at traffic. I don’t really expect you to comment. I enjoy it tremendously when you do, but I don’t lie awake at night worrying when you don’t.

And I never pick up memes. Ever. Because I Am A Snob. I don’t want to tell you what’s on my iPod or Five Things You Don’t Know About Me or what’s on page whatever of the nearest book. So there. I am not fun.

But I do read statistics for the site and I can tell that you, Florida, are coming back to read all the time. And that you, Sweden, seem to drop in rather often. Oh, Canada, you up there, in your home and native land, hello! So when I read that it’s Delurking Week, I thought, hey, hello, hey, you! You don’t even have to say hi in the comments, if you’re too terribly shy, drop me an email.

Truth is, I’m nosy. If you’re reading my blog, I think I’d like to be reading yours, if you’ve got one. So, come out come out wherever you are! Olly olly oxen free!

Now, I am off to look at my feeds to see if I need to delurk. Hello, hi there. Thanks for reading.

  1. You know me … 🙂
Thanks for the delurk reminder … oh, and I posted your Seattle invitation, re: orange overalls.

Loved it … still smiling over it.

  2. Love your blog. Just about everything, but you are at your most adorable when you sing. Also appreciate it that you blog regularly. Do you have your favourites that you click on first when you open up your bloglines or google? Well, even though you are alphabetically quite a way down my subscription list, I do tend to sneak you into my clicking queue.

  3. You know I love you. And you probably have some fans coming from my site. And you can’t help it if you’re more interesting than the rest of us so you don’t HAVE to resort to tactics like top ten lists. In fact, it would seem wrong if you did.
