Here are the Saturday highlights:<\/p>\n<p>1. Ice skating for a few hours in the middle of the day. The ice is perfect, the best it&#8217;s been in years.  The last two winters we had only a day or two of skating, this year, we&#8217;ve been on and off the ice since Christmas. Today the sky was kodakchrome blue, and the sun was shining. Perfect.<\/p>\n<p>2. My sister in law&#8217;s apricot jam buchteln. Or wuchteln, depending on who you ask. Regardless of spelling, this little treat is a small yeast risen bun filled with apricot jam and sprinkled with powdered sugar.
