In spite of the disappointing weather, we rather enjoyed our in town getaway<\/a> at the Holiday Inn near the Space Needle. We ate chowder, watched the Looney Tunes marathon on Nickelodeon, wandered around the empty Pike Place Market, and in general, just enjoyed being some place else — sort of. You can do this too, because the Holiday Inn wants to give you one night at one of their “refreshed” properties anywhere in the US.<\/p>\n

Leave me a comment with the state and city where you’d like to stay — check out the Holiday Inn<\/a> site for locations. I don’t have any restrictions from the PR folks, but I’d assume that it’s based on availability, of course, and that there may be the random “some restrictions apply” rules. I’ll tell you again — we found our room to be clean, quiet, and the bed was super comfortable. Yes, I would <\/em>stay there again and I’d recommend it to you if you were looking for an affordable Seattle hotel.
