  1. Drop dead handsome surfer type in shorts and a t-shirt. Perfect sandy blond hair, straight almost to his shoulders, that deep tan that shows he lives outside. He could be a fashion model. He’s on the sidewalk, not far from the statue of Duke Kahanamoku, pacing furiously, a bible in one hand, the other waving around in the air. He is shouting fire and brimstone into the street. Repent, you sinners leaving the ABC store!<\/li>\n
  2. A woman carrying a cat on a leash. At the beach.<\/li>\n
  3. Outside the Cheesecake Factory, there are dozens of people waiting for tables. Dozens. Maybe 50, maybe more.<\/li>\n
  4. Japanese girls wearing black tights. Or argyle tights. Underneath their shorts and mini-skirts. It’s 85 degrees and humid. They’re wearing tights.<\/li>\n
  5. Cheeseburger in Paradise.<\/li>\n
  6. Runners — all guys — who choose dinner hour and this crowded promenade for their workout. There’s a really nice park one mile that way.<\/li>\n
