Or, How you gonna go back to ol’ Paree once you’ve been down on the farm?<\/em><\/p>\n

\"Scarecrow\"<\/a>Lisa asked me if I’d like to tag along with her and Seth to visit the CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) farm they support She reckoned it was a good place for a person like me to wander around with a camera.<\/p>\n

Indeed, Sharon’s Moonshadow Farm<\/a> is a delightful place, with a perfect little farmhouse, a few outbuildings, and, at this time of year, stuff growing madly all over the place. There were 98 chickens, all with names, two donkeys, Chico and Cinquo de Mayo, a couple of goats, some geese that looked like they were wearing debutate dresses, a confused pea-chick, a bunny, some bees, at least two garden snakes, a mess o’ peacocks, here a duck there a duck everywhere a duck duck…<\/p>\n

There was a little drama involving a donkey and a gate that wasn’t closed. But other than that, it was a delightful morning on the farm. In two weeks Sharon will be pulling the first honey from the hives. If I’m able to go, I’d really like to see how that works.<\/p>\n
