With our airport in the international media spotlight it seems fitting to recycle two Nerd&#8217;s Eye View posts about the holiday.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nerdseyeview.com\/blog\/?p=208\">I said Christmas, I meant Christmas<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nerdseyeview.com\/blog\/?p=95\">Secular Snowman?<br \/>\n<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We caught the rabbi on the news last night and he did <em>not<\/em> request the removal of the trees. He seemed like a reasonable enough gent for a guy from a pretty extreme sect, plus, he was sporting a beard of Karl Marx-esque proportions that we could not ignore. We&#8217;re inclined to give him the benefit of the doubt.<\/p>\n<p>Update: There&#8217;s a good round up of what happened <a href=\"http:\/\/seattletimes.nwsource.com\/html\/localnews\/2003473318_seatactrees12m.html\">here<\/a> in our local paper. Worth noting in this story? The Rabbi, who&#8217;s really getting bashed, asked nice some time back for the menorah and the port dropped the ball.<br \/>\nAlso for the record, I love Christmas trees.
