Fish Wednesday: Too Many Cookies Edition

Sesame Tuna I swear to Neptune, the god of the sea and all that lives in it, some of the smartest money I spent this year was on my little Road Trip Grill. When the rains started, we didn’t stow it in the garage – rather, we stowed the bench we used for piling up the grocery bags while digging for our keys and put the grill there, under the awning, out of the rain. Passports with Purpose: The Wrap

It probably sounds like Debbie, Michelle, Beth, and yours truly do little but sit around in each others kitchens eating excellent Seattle treats and washing them down with freshy brewed java or some nice green tea. I suppose there’s some truth in that, but the treats are fuel for big ideas and oh, we have them in spades. The Inn at Port Ludlow

There’s not much to do in Port Ludlow in the wintertime. The town is little more than a crossroads with a gas station and a mini mart. Port Townsend has more to offer, if you like twee little shops and antiquing and cafes – which, I confess, I do but only in small amounts. There’s some nice hiking/biking/boating activities if the weather is more cooperative, but when we stopped over, the weather hovered somewhere between biting and bitter cold with the smell of snow in the air.… continued…
