Pandemic Pavillion Portrait Project

Late in the summer, when it became clear we’d not be freed from the pandemic any time soon, I had an awning built in my backyard so I could continue to have friends over when the weather turned. In December, I started taking photos of the people who bundled up and came to visit. I’m ordering weatherproof acrylic prints to hang on the side of the shed and when all this is over, I’m inviting you for a backyard party, gallery viewing, and to take your picture away with you. That’s the plan right now, though maybe I like you so much I’m going to want to keep you.
