A story for Father’s Day

It was the early 90s. My dad had recently ended his tenure as a guest of the US Government and we hadn’t spent much time in the same place in years. A lot had changed and I would not have guessed that he still knew who I was, but I was wrong.

One afternoon I was talking to my dad on the phone about how Husband #1 and I were having massive disagreements about The Future. Divorce was on the table. It sucked.

“He thinks it’s time to move to the sticks and have kids,” I said.

“Well, who is he planning on doing that with?” asked my dad in reply.

Here’s a little movie for Father’s Day. 50s dad gives Radio Shack son advice on fitting in. You need sound and a high speed connection.
