Glacier National Park

Glacier National Park knocks the breath right out of you and replaces it with sheer wonder.

  1. Without a doubt, GNP was one of the most heart-changing places I have ever seen. Been through it on a few occasions. Stopped for a half-hour to let cattle stroll across the main road – no other traffic around – and in my world, cows always have right-of-way. Once had a butterfly land on my nose to kiss me, while stopping at Logan Pass.

  3. I took my first real (meaning long) motorcycle ride on the back of a bike – with no helmet – on the Going to the Sun Highway with my cousin in the late 80’s. I won’t ever forget the beauty of that area from the bike, in the sun, with all that fresh air and all the beautiful views.

I bought a bike a few years later and still ride today.

  4. Haven’t stopped by your site in awhile, so my apologies on a late comment, but I LOVE this picture! Glacier National Park is such a fanastic park to spend time in, especially if you’re able to get off the main drag. I’m glad you enjoyed it!
