Looks pretty much like the Viet Nam I left in 1970. As an advisor to the Vietnamese riverine forces, I spent a lot of time in the field, eating in some hootch off a tributary – God knows where exactly. Was always told the the meat was “deer”, but we never went without Ba Mui Ba or Tiger beer. Had lots of the stomach thing. Don’t remember any ukuleles.
