Run Away Home

I think it’s been exactly a year since I started going to live storytelling events. I’ve been at the mic maybe once a quarter and I think I am getting better at it. It’s hard, it’s just you and the mic, no notes, but as the guy who moderates this event always says, “It’s your story, you know what happened, plus, if you forget something, no one knows. Keep going.”

There are themes; you’re not required to adhere to them but I like to try. The theme for this round was love. Naturally, I told a story about Harley the Dog.

This was recorded at Fresh Ground Stories at the Swedish Club. It’s once a month. You should come. It’s free and it’s a refreshingly human way to spend an evening.

  1. Love this so much. If I lived in Washington I would absolutely come hear you do one of these. Give that little guy boop for me! 🙂
